Love was in the air @ Station on Jasper
A killer lineup of bands (Cale Michael, The Confusionaires, AcheEater, Sleeping In Traffic) graced the stage for our newlywed friends Joseph and Mary Roach; and we were proud to find ourselves amongst them.
“Do you want to turn your amps down?.”
This was the question asked of me and my fellow guitar player, Devin, to which we looked at each other and shrugged. We like them amps to be loud and don't care who knows it, but we obliged all the same.
We had the challenge of being the first band of the night, Cale Michael having delighted the audience with a little acoustic crooning earlier in the night. It was our first time playing Station, so we were pumped to get going - even with the limited soundcheck (somehow it's hard to go into too much nit-picking with an already present audience looking up at you, go figure.)
No strings were broken this time but I'd like to think we made the stage a hot one for the bands to follow. Tune in next time.
